Lovely local sushi restaurant, with kind and thoughtful staff. I ordered near closing time and the food was still great quality tasted fresh and they also left a little treat as I mentioned it was my sister‘s birthday - really love local restaurants like this as they put in such an effort!

I am extremely pleased to have dined at this restaurant. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by a serene atmosphere created by a laminated glass fountain. The walls adorned with lovely pink trees truly enhanced the Japanese ambiance. The menu offered a variety of unique dishes, and I opted for the chicken katsu curry which was not only delicious but also enhanced by their special curry sauce. Overall, the exceptional customer service and delectable food made for a wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

One word describes it all- DELECTABLE! This place does NOT disappoint!!! Came up from Sheffield after hearing about its opening through Instagram (yes we travel for good food!) , my family and myself were served by the manager , Sobia , right from her amazing customer service to the mouthwatering food , everything all in all was FANTASTIC! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after and the food was served piping hot!! The restaurant itself is spacious and has amazing decor- a beautiful place for group and single selfies ( we took so many selfies )and has comfortable seating that’s also aesthetically pleasing , it’s child friendly , so no need to worry about the little ones playing up! The food itself is one of the best I’ve tasted in years ! They have a wide selection of food from sushi to mouth watering spring rolls - please try the bubble tea!! It is out of this world !! I can now say this is a family favourite that we will definitely be coming to again and again!

I recently ordered delivery from Wakame and had a great experience. The food arrived promptly and was still fresh and beautifully presented. We had a variety of sushi and curry katsu, and everything was delicious. The sushi was super fresh, and the curry katsu was rich and flavourful. Overall, a fantastic delivery experience. Highly recommend Wakame!
